so right off the showroom floor..

and yes, wants and needs are subjective. so again. the absolute best of the WANTS and NEEDs.

do you WANT a DCT/DSG trans?
Do you want BBK
Do you want LSD
Do you Want a powerful car?
Do you want a refined sporty and comfortable interior?

what other cars offer the TOTAL package for the same price?

(and yes, i am remaining civil here, I dont want a banstick raping . if you want to see me aggro, look into me and Nismo370z and Mrsqueeze arguments on another site )
I didn't say anything about modding, I was talking used 911 vs new M3. You could also net a used GT-R in that range. Both of which would beat an M3 on a track and have 4 seats.

how dare you, the nismo oowners are going to kick your arse. its like calling a 370 a 350! i dont have problems with where the cars ended up, i just think some of the gaps are a little questionable. i guess i should be happy that i made it through the track with just pads, brake fluid, oil cooler and some nice tire

Prius racing, the new one make series

You want to see a good driver, at the driving academy for the state police they hustle old crown vics around their racetrack in a manner that you would not believe. Auto Crown vics that are about 10 years old. Its amazing how fast they get them around. oh and they have to do it wet as well......

Cossie-- the nismo is actually slower around VIR than a base/sport z, mostly due to wait. They were also running it bone stock, and the awful stock brake pads are going to limit aggressiveness. Beyond this, the lack of a true hot lap pretty easily explains the differences. Their times are usually indicative of what a car is capable of in good but not godly hands.

haha, now that i think of he, he may have an "ix". ill have to reconfirm this. I just know he keeps spending tons of money on Dinan parts, and from what i know, those parts are kinda worthless...

335i??

the dinan chips dont really do too much. Find someone with a JB3+ and that chip makes a big difference. with just the chip i think they are getting something like 80hp to the wheels. onlyu 30-40 with the Dinan setup. Dinan is kinda conservative but backed by warranty

You guys really think a 335i vs. the 370z both stock, the 335i would really come out on top?

No, although I'm sure you'll agree that racing is more about the driver than the car.

335's didnt come with DCT until The N55 motor. a JB4'd 335 wil destroy all but FI 350/370's

JB4 now and dinan warranty, no longer bmw warranty

nope, first 80hp is $500, everything after that get s pricey

but to get back on topic, a properly tuned 335/135 will destroy all but FI 350/370's,and even then its going to be close. with a slight edge to the 335's. Im sure a few people will chime in here shortly now that we have gone this route
