its a toy, its a hobby, its something to have fun with. enjoy your car, but you were enticed enough to join this discussion because you were curious about the outcome. enjoy yours, ill enjoy mine. some enjoy racing, some dont. let me ask you this, why were you in here to begin with? |

The point was that you can't compare a modded car to a 100% stock car, it's an unfair comparison. The only fair ways to compare are either as you said before "factory fresh" comparing them stock or dollar for dollar including mods. |

plus the price of the car... base sport 370z. 33,000 + 10,000 GTM TT plus exhaust = 480+ hp

$495 jb4 $400 meth $2899 RB turbos 41794 total I raise you $13,000 AP1 $300 3mm headgasket $500 IP turboback exhaust $6000 inlinepro full race turbo kit with fuel management $900 AEM EMS 20430 total And since we're talking straight line $26,000 370z $8000GTM Twin Turbo Stage 2 $34000 I don't even need to throw on anything else to get to 500whp.... Anyways, this discussion is stupid and pointless. Everybody knows factory turbo cars offer a lot more bang for your buck when it comes to small mods. Maybe you could go troll the guys on NASIOC, see how that works out for you. I came very close to purchasing a 135i instead of my Z, because I did enjoy the car on the road. When I had an opportunity to drive it hard it was much less enjoyable though. They're great cars, and I don't think anyone here that has driven one would be quick to admit they're a fun car driven up to around 7/10 or so. |

wow this thread! Lost marine just wants everyone to acknowledge his car as god....
Lets do TRUE mod for mod NA vs NA....all motor vs all motor....at that point MOD for MOD that means take those huge snail out of your car....the VHR is SUPERIOR, untouched....with out those huge power adders you driving nothing more than a civic or scion powered car. And even at those power levels an SI would hand you your lost a$$ lmao...this is so stupid...nobody here wants your 335/135, we are all more than capable of owning one but decided to go the Z route for its obvious track superiorty.....until your pulling 11.2 like the HR guy (who lied about his boost levels) stop living vicariously through other accomplishments
