500HP end of test day at cmp... playing around
With the tires smoked out and a LONG 2do list written up from 2 hard days of testing, we went out for 1 last session to just have some fun. The car was spinning the entire front straight when I let it loose... 3rd, 4th, and 5th!!!! I got a chuckle every time I came off of 14 to see two 13" wide black strips for hundreds of feet. We will obviously be taking measures to get the rear to bite down... but it was fun.
Over all testing was a success. We were well over 500whp... no temp issues no other drama to mention. Once we get the chassis and the tune tweaked to hook better, I believe she may be a contender! Jay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vo3wkFXQUs |
