Stance Coilovers
Okay so, Stance-usa.com does not sell coilovers for the 370z, however they do sell them for the 350z. So I'm hoping some people here have some experience. Basically, has anyone ever owned stance coilovers before? I'm getting them for my RX-7, and wanted some experience with them, as they seem to be a rather new USA based company. Anything? Thanks! Opinions requested!
Getting the AL+Pro AL+Pro ~1500USD The AL+pro is just the GR+Pro but made out of aluminum. Here's the blurb. AL+Pro is based on our popular GR+Pro model. AL+Pro features full aluminum shell construction which has excellent anti-corrosion characteristics for customers that see extreme weather conditions. The aluminum shell casing is also lighter than steel, providing less unsprung mass for greater response. The helper spring allows the shock piston to be placed in the optimal position within the shock body, increasing rebound stroke, and maximizing articulation on cars with minimum suspension travel. 15-Way Damping Adjustable Adjustable Camber Uppermount Pillowball Uppermount Cold Wound Linear Spring Inverted Monotube Shocks Dustboot Aluminum Collars, Upper Mounts & Shock Height Adjustable Lower Bracket Helper Spring on rear They seem to portray themselves with a lot of JDM style, even having a mascot like tein, except it's an octopus, stanpus

Stance sells the GR+/GR+ Pro for 370Z. I'm currently running the GR+ on my Nismo Z. No problems whatsoever.
I've had friends that tracked with these for almost 2 years with no problems. The dampening is actually superior to that of higher-end models (Tein, Apex'i, etc). If I can find a shock dyno I'll post it for comparison. |

I love you Weeeee.
You know what, I missed it, they do infact have Z34 applications. I just missed it because they listed it under "Fairlady Z" Z34. Coolness.

I have personally (and through my company) helped R&D all the Z and the G suspensions that Stance has came out with. In fact, us and our time attack Z are even in their product catalog as well as on the entire back cover. LOL.
I am proud of what we collectively have come up with as the basis for GR+, GR+Pro, and the GR+3 coilover valving, especially the high speed valving, it is second to none in this price range of coilovers!! You can't go wrong with the Stance Products in their price ranges. Equinox, if you are going directly through Stance USA (Togue Factory), be sure to ask for Dave or Scott over there.... Let them know I sent you. :-) Or also let me know if you need any help..... |
