I used to have Ford Probe GT and a 07 Eclipse GT that I have taken to the track. The 370z is bone stock and I was hoping to run mid 13's. I could not get a decent launch the whole nighy and the best time I ran was 14.1@103mph, yes 103mph! Has anyone else not been able to break 13's?? Any tips on launching techniques? Thanks in advance.

Nice break-in technique!
Your car is never going to be fast. NEVER.

LMAO! 13s? You'll be lucky to beat a Prius!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Mean guy!
Have to admit it's that "reduced engine performance" line that keeps me under 4k for now...

I have a feeling this has something to do with the "April Fools" under his name....if its not..well I took my car to the race track at like 650 ODO miles and its doing just fine

To the thread starter: Launch at when you see the last yellow, not when you see the green. Drop some rear tire pressure. You might be jumping off the clutch too fast and being too aggressive with the throttle at the start. You have to feather both momentarily to get the best hookup you can, otherwise you're just going to spin street tires and do a slow time.

Had 400 on mine, made multiple passes between then and 1200, 12K later, still a beast.
