willow springs raceway 2/21/10
here is a link to my video at WSIR (big track) last wknd. i was still on my very worn re050's. for those who were wondering if the bridgestones lose grip as they wear out, the answer is a definite yes! i would estimate that you lose at least 1.5 sec or more per lap compared to new.
my stock vlsd was also overheating towards the end of sessions and was giving me lots of problems on corner exits in the tight corners (t3-t5, aka the "omega"). it was just very erratic, sometimes locking and sometimes not. very frustrating. i managed a best lap of 1:43.78, which is about 2 seconds off what i think i should be able to do. with new tires and more seat time, i'll be aiming for a 1:41 my next time out. with an os giken lsd, i may even be able to do a 1:40. =) YouTube - 370Z AT WILLOW SPRINGS RACEWAY |
