I just realize there is a winter series of autox in New Jersey Motorsport Park here in South jersey and I wanted to share this with all the people interested.

Here is the link to the series:

I wanna give two big thumbs up  to Mr. Mark Labbancz in the black Z for the best time in the stock category.

You can register the day of the event at 900AM, or preregister following this link (Its only $35 bucks)

I should come out to this but after doing 500+ auto-xs I've moved on to HPDE and Road Racing... :( One day I'll get back to Auto-x.

I am still a "NOOB" in motorsports and will like to start getting my feet wet by attending my first autoX. I agree with you once I do a couple of them I will love to go for a HPDE or even road racing. Still I think I will learn a lot from it plus we might meet some friends from this forum.

No need to participate, just attend and meet new friends. Unfortunately AK370Z is not gona make it.
See ya there on March 6th. :driving:

Cool, I'll see if I can come out. I think I'm getting my taxes done that day.

If you ever want a ride on the road courses, don't hesitate to hit up a NASA-NE event and shoot me a msg. I'm the Race Director so I'm at almost all the events.

Mike,

I just checked the NASA-NE website:
NASA NorthEast 2010 - safe and affordable way to get on the racetrack

very impresive, the HPDE (High Performance Driving Schools) seem interesting for the future. I have a quick question whats a "hyperdrive"?.

I've never done an autox before but I want to pretty bad.

Seriously considering this!

Hyperdrive is basically a 20 min session at lunch where the speeds are limited and you have an instructor in car. Cost is about $50 I think. So it gives you a taste without dropping a ton of cash.

I always give people free rides in my car to get em hooked :)

I will be at NJMP April 16-18 and then again Memorial Day weekend! We also have a 3rd weekend scheduled for Halloween Weekend. Fridays are best for me to take people out as that is the "open" tracking day and my Race Director responsibilities are a little less on those days. :)

We should have our shop 96 Impreza Swapped Race car done by April 1st so that will be a hoot to ride in too.

Mike, alefcole and I are definitely interested in attending an HPDE at millville this year. Hyperdrive is sounding like a must do as well. Looking forward to meeting you at an event.
