Asphalt Ventures ... March 8-9 ... VIR Full Course
Hey guys... wanted to remind everyone about Asphalt Ventures' first event for 2010...
We are excited to be opening the 2010 season with a two day event at Virginia Int'l Raceway's Full Course! Monday & Tuesday March 8th-9th The focus for this event will be on continued education. That is, the continued drive for improvement on all levels. From the novice/intermediate driver up to, and including the seasoned track junkie, racer, and instructor. This event is comprised of a few parts, so please read the following information carefully... (Please note: schedules subject to change) Intermediate/Advanced K&A Driver's Ed ($300 Monday, $450 Monday & Tuesday) * Monday and Tuesday track sessions with classroom and in-car instructor (standard HPDE format of four 30 minute track sessions per day) * Drivers for this group must have at least three full days of prior HPDE experience w/instruction * We are pleased to present Peter Krause from Krause & England as your classroom instructor for this event! * There will also be a "virtual" session using Krause & Associates' iRacing simulation rig rEvolution Advanced Continuing Education (rACE) and rEvolution Performance Driver Lapping (rPDL) ($300 one-day, $450 two-day) * Monday and/or Tuesday open lapping ... FOUR hours of track time available EACH DAY (Passing anywhere w/point for approved experienced drivers)
* Tuesday rEvolution Advanced Driver Clinic
Instructors ... Get ready for something you just do not find at other track events: rEvolution Instructor Continuing Education clinic (rICE) (starting @ $125) * Chuck Hawks will be leading this clinic that will dig deep into what it really means to be track day instructor * Classroom sessions will be supported with track sessions and goals for sessions with your student * You will come away from this clinic with a deeper understanding of what it takes to be the best instructor you can be, but also (and maybe more importantly) what it takes to get the most, and the best, from your students * Current Asphalt Ventures approved instructors will have one student assigned to them... if you are an instructor with another organization and would like to be considered for the AV Instructor roster, please submit this instructor application as soon as possible. * This is NOT an instructor "approval" clinic... this is for established instructors only Registration for this event is now open through MotorsportReg.com ...
