New PB 2010 370Z Touring quarter mile
 

Finally got this pile running good, on just motor and pump E85.

Drove down to Thunder Valley after work on Friday.

Great conditions and the track was excellent.

Lots of help from SebZ, he puts up with me, a bunch.

Track clocks said 12.40, and the Dragy said 12.38, which is pretty close.

Previous best was 12.66 in 900 ft DA.

Went to Thunder Valley today and tried some soft nitrous hits.

Car ran well but didn’t improve on my PB of 11.58.

(This was only about an 85 whp nitrous set up, with a 2.0 second progressive ramp.) There is a lot more that can be added.)

So, my new VR30 trans is slipping on the 4-5 shift at WOT.

On spray, I have to shift from 4 to 5 at about 1200 ft.

It’s hitting the 7800rpm limiter for a second, then stops and starts pulling again.

If anyone knows how or if this can be remedied, please let me know.

It was only making 420 whp yesterday with the Jets I selected.

Not real happy about this. My original 2010 7AT did this as well but not as bad.
