https://cj-motorsports.com/products/...-oil-pan-hrvhr

CJM baffled oil pan adds half qt of capacity and has heat sinks on the bottom, on top of the baffles.

Probably would help with oil temps

220-240. You ain’t running the car hard. Me and ssfirehawk run between 260-280 no issues. 2 straight track days in 95 degree heat with 80-90% humidity.

my apologies..i took it wrong. cooling wise for the motor just a csf radiator and a 34 row cooler. in 90 degree weather, after 10 minutes im easily at 260.. and ill usually pit right there. these last couple days in the winter were in the 40's so even getting up to temp was rough. those were the days it would run about 220-240 ish

to be fair i changed the front bumper in between summer and winter so idk if that contributed to the lower temps

also seb put a failsafe in my tune at 270 cause he said i shouldnt run it hotter than 260

btw heres the build if youre interested

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the hood is gonna make a big difference

for example, the trackspec users report drops of 10-15 deg on the street and 20 deg on the track

thread:
Yay! Trackspec!

Nice, I can’t wait to see how it turns out. I’ll be going to streets of willow in early April, I’ll let you know how it goes! That’s substantial

Yep, open up the hood and let the heat out. Also, some have relocated their oil cooler so that it is getting more direct air flow. If your water temps are staying cool, as stated above you are good even at 285. The motor will pull some timing and performance will be down, but you aren't in harms way. Just make sure you change your oil before the next event.

Ahhh now it makes sense. The car usually holds at 280 when redlining 7,800 every gear and downshifting very aggressively. Usually when shifting at 7,200 and not downshifting and late breaking temps usually stay at 260. I’ll check your build out.
