The diff has been known to puke once in a while. It's happened to about 3 people here in the forum.

The diff does run hot. If you have the oem vlsd. After it gets hot. The silicone breaks down and the vlsd gives up the ghost.

Nah....the vlsd no longer works right until it cools back down. If too many hot cycles. It just quits. Mine would work ok for the first 10 minutes or so of a session, then slowly quit working like a vlsd. Toward the end of it's life. It would quit after about 5 minutes and wouldn't come back until the next day. That's when I installed the OS Giken LSD.

Tip on the power steering fluid level. If you track. DO NOT fill to the max line. Fill only to the add line. Reason why. When the fluid gets hot. It will expand and over flow the reservoir. Leaving a nice mess to clean up. Z1 makes a power steering cooler. https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...it-p-4774.html I have one.
