Chasing a 370Z @ ACS

Hello everyone, welcome to my first post!

Here are two vids at Auto Club Speedway, SpeedVentures event.
This is really the only video I was able to capture. It's mostly all of a 370Z. This car is all stock and it's a fast machine for sure. I really had to work on chasing him down in my 350Z.

External video of 370Z at ACS:

370 spins out

One more of a 370 spinning out at Streets of Willow:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qYATHRk8NzU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qYATHRk8NzU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And that would be all the 370 vids I have...

LOL, it's very temping. After checking out the 370 at the track the other day, I can see a VAST improvement. It really is a completely different car.

Awesome videos. So, who are the 370Z drivers? I think I saw a PG and a Black one that spun out pretty aggressively.

LOL; that's funny you noticed the radio. The camera was mounted right where the speaker is. I was amazed it picked up anything off the speakers, but it did. I was hoping no one would notice...

The 370 is no doubt a great track car. I think in a couple of years it will be the car to have for RWD cars competing in time attack. Right now, my biggest concern in the S2000. A bone stock S2 just ran a 2:04 at buttonwillow. For the enthusiast class I need to be in the 2:00 min range. Right now I'm doing 2:05 so I need to drop 5 seconds!

Yeah S2000s were made for Buttonwillow for sure. Remember when people flipped out when Nils broke the 2:00 barrier at Buttonwillow just a few years ago? My how times have changed hahaha...

Yup, I remember that day well. It was very exciting.

I want to be the first street tire 350 to break 2:00 at buttonwillow.
I think I can do it! Wish me luck:driving:

Nice vids! Thanks for posting them.

What did you use to film? Gopro?

2.00 in a Z on street tires is moving. You have our support as well.

Look forward to seeing you guys at the track. :driving:

Thanks! Yeah, it was a standard Gopro. Nothing special, but it gets the job done.
