Racing Helmet Rating Changes
Just a heads up for you track rats. I got an e-mail from Pittsburgh International Raceway today to check the sticker inside my helmet. The helmet ratings are changing. If you have an old out of date helmet. Now's the time to get a new helmet. Check with the tracks you run on, and see if they have any requirements for the helmets.
Here's part of the e-mail I got today. 2020 will be the LAST year to wear the highlighted ratings of your helmet. Autocross: SA2005, SA2010, SA2015 PDE and Test & Tune: SA2010, SA2015 Starting 2021 you MUST have the following ratings Autocross: SA2010, SA2015, SA2020 PDE and Test & Tune: SA2015, SA2020
