I know manufacturer defect is not one of the most common causes of tire failures. But I've seen enough cheap (i.e. inexpensive) tire defects, such as tread separation, that it's not worth the risk to use lower quality materials just to save a few pennies. It's why I stopped using Nittos, frankly. Just my
