B Street Tire Setup

I bought my 370z convertible touring sport package used (non nismo). The previous owner put on firehawk 285/35r19 in the back; oem 19' wheels. I haven't had any issues so

Thanks for the confirmation. I was mostly worried about the front wheels being 19 X 9 and 285/35 calling for a wheel wider than 9.5”

I remember having that as a concern as well. I ran 275/285 front rear for a season and while it was ok, the 285 square was that much better. The car was easier to rotate on the brakes and was faster through slaloms. Check with your local club to see if there a shop that is used to shoehorning a wider tire on.

Was able to get the tires mounted last night and do a quick test fit with the car up on jacks for the winter.

Looks like everything is going to fit, even without any spacers. Overall I'm pretty happy with them.

Kind of disappointed with losing the low-profile look on the fronts. The 285s hang over the edge more than I'd like. Probably go with 275s next year. Needless to say -- it'll be difficult to curb my wheels now.

I'm more interested in how they are going to drive. After that first autocross run, I'll probably quickly forget how they "look".
