The Roeling track?
Who has been on the savannah track. I am thinking about going on April 24Tues for beginners. What do I need to know ahead of time other than just have fun and its not a race. You get 3x20 min sessions with instructor by the way.:driving:

Bleed your brakes and make sure you have good pads. Nothing worse then running out of pad material at that track.
Check all of your fluids. Make sure your brake fluid is topped off. If not, it will throw some crazy dash warning lights. Your power steering only needs to be to the add line. It doesn't need to be to the full line. The reason is because the fluid will get hot and expanse. It has to go someplace. If the reservoir is full. It will leak out of the cap. Leaving a mess. Check your air pressure in your tires. Listen to your instructor. Be smooth with your inputs. Smooth on the brakes, smooth off the brakes. Smooth in moving the steering wheel. Keep both hands on the wheel, unless you are shifting. And read this. http://www.the370z.com/track-autocro...must-read.html |
roebling is a great track for beginners. May seem simple at first, but can be a VERY complex track and will teach you more about your car than most tracks
