What didn't you like about the first combo? I have an idea, but I would like to know your thoughts.
Also, did you run that without a front sway bar?

FYI the z1 FUCA's are technically illegal in STU.

I ran my first event in STU trim this weekend with 285sq'd (18x10.5)
It was 35 degrees.. it's a shame being sideways eats up so much clock

It'd take a true asshat to protest over something like that -- but it's something to be aware of.

Confused about this too. Only possible illegal aspect I could see is if the metal to non-metal content is off versus the factory FUCA. If someone protests you for that with these particular arms they deserve to be ridiculed by everyone around.

It was too pushy, I had the Eibach bar already.

896lb/in is 16kg/mm. Swift offers that.

Eibach and Hypercoil has 1000lbs

Is that what you were asking?

lets talk coilovers for a minute. I want to go with something in the $1500-2500 range. I want the dampers to be able to be serviced in the states. I know I can get this from Fortune with their 510 series. I also know that the mcs single adjustable are around this range. Looking for thought and feed back on other options to consider.

I trust the guys who actually use their cars over the opinions in the general suspension section.

What systems are out there which do not change the rear to true coilover? I'm aware of KWv3, but are there others?

Many of the good ones do not. AST, KW, Ohlins, MCS, MCA, Fortune, Penseke. Also like Gomer mentioned, if a company makes a good damper but it's a true type, you can always order up a set of rear perches to mount in the stock location.

You don't have to get the springs from the people you get your dampers from. So long as the dampers are valved correctly for the spring rate you will be using that's what matters.

I have AST dampers and when ordered I just told them to supply springs to the specs I gave them (diameter, free length, and rate). I'll probably be picking up more springs in the near future to test some alternate spring rates.

I reached out to Jeff Wong at Proparts. They can rebuild Megans for me but I did not specifically ask about Konis. I wouldn't rule it out, but I was surprised it wasn't the first option recommended.
