Throttle cut when brake applied: anyone able to tune it out?

Does anyone know of any tuners who can tune out the annoying throttle cut any time you touch the brake pedal? I’m a left foot braker when autocrossing and it’s driving me nuts! Not only cutting power, but the delay before you get it back. Just wondering if there are tuners out there who can code it out.

Thanks!
Brian

Or you can just pull the brake fuse before your autocross run. Make sure you put it back for street driving though - the brake lights don't function with the fuse removed.

Pretty sure Ecutek does what your asking in terms of a tune.

I’ve pulled the fuse before. Works great, but it’s always miles later on the way home that I remember to replace the damned thing... lol

There is a DIY on the forum for wiring up a switch in the center console if that might help you remember. Switch it off at the starting line and back on after the run.

That would be great! Haven’t seen it.

Sebastian (Seb) at Specialty Z was able to do it for one guy on here. Not sure how he did it. It was with Ecuteck.

It is called, "Throttle Hijack". It is done with Ecutek.

I am confused, wouldn't this prevent heel and toe? I heel and toe on the track (with SRM off) and don't have any issues with blipping the throttle with the brakes applied.

Try to do a standing burnout. Not happening without doing something.

If you lock the brakes up while being on the throttle you would get no throttle response so exactly the same as heel and toeing but without the clutch!

You can do it as part of an Uprev tune with the ARC upgrade. Called the "burnout mod"
