More Valkyrie 370Z GT In-car! Sonoma Raceway

Another win for the Valkyrie Autosport 370Z GT in Super Unlimited with NASA NorCal. This thing is like a video game to drive, just to much fun. Less than 4 seconds off a the fastest brand new Porsche GT3 Cup that weekend, getting close to our goal!

Still down about 60-70 HP to the Cup cars, carrying an extra couple hundred pounds, and have plenty of room in the chassis setup to find a second or so. Enjoy!

Why don't guys move out of the way ASAP like total noobs? They could clearly see you coming.

So much fun... actually to much fun because I wasn't paying attention to a couple of spots that the setup needed help in. After reviewing the data and overlaying laps with our ST3 350Z (which by every stretch SHOULD be slower everwhere, heavier, less power, less tire), the 350 was actually about .7-1 faster in 4, exiting 6, and mid corner in 7. I am running so much spring to keep the car from bottoming out in the fast high G corners with our giant tires and lots of aero, that it is causing a lot of low speed understeer.

Overall this car is about 4 seconds faster currently than our 350, but after looking at the data we have an easy second on the table if I can cure the understeer.

We have more power on the table with the motor, and more weight to loose, we'll get there!

Thanks for all the views and comments guys!

It's always the battle in mixed group racing. At some point everyone is having their own race and has every right to their line. BUT, some guys that are clearly back markers and have nothing to gain or loose could be a little more heads up for sure. The guy that went off track then pulled right on line in front of me was a bit interesting, hence my Italian style gesture to him.

Then there is another side to this that most of the back markers ARE newer drivers, and newer drivers are always told to never pull off line to let cars pass. Hold your line, be predictable, it is always the passing drivers responsibility to make a clean pass.

Lots of in and outs, lots of what have you's :).
