I honestly don't understand why that happened. I have raced VIR many times, including working the flags at that turn, and to have him hit driver's right at that location,

I honestly don't understand why that happened. I have raced VIR many times, including working the flags at that turn, and to have him hit driver's right at that location, front first, is an akward point of impact for that turn. He should have lifted and/or countersteered, and at some point slammed on the brakes. Most spins happen down the hill drivers left. It almost looks like he had a stuck throttle or he didn't counter steer.
