FYI Round 1 AER Road Atlanta 10-12 Feb 2016
 

Hi Everyone,

I am running in the first round of the 2017 American Endurance Racing series next week at Road Atlanta.
Car: 2002 E46M3, S54, E36 swapped 5 speed, ~350 HP. Set up really nice. Sponsored by Rogue Engineering, #82. Random Vandals Racing.
We will be in Class 5 (fastest run group) have a great lineup of drivers and support staff.

Should be a fun weekend and if anyone in in the area feel free to stop by. It is a very family friendly environment, long pants sleeves and no open toed shoes. Weather is looking 60-65 degrees no rain so far.

I am running with this team until my 370Z arrives. WE will have the 370z at the glen in April.

Me too! This E46M3 is badass, Don't think my Z will be able to hang with it. The car is really well sorted. Not sure if we are going to be in class 4 or class 5 with the Z, we shall see. I hope it is in class 5 (Fastest)

Are you the team that picked up the car out of New Orleans? Former STO car? If so I would really like a chance to chat about some of the aspects of that car. I'm setting mine up for SCCA TT and GTA and had a few questions concerning that car.

Yes it was a STO car out of california. We picked the car up from Pelligrinni Performance Group in NO. Jay was great and the car is showing this week after 1 month of shipping delays.

We blew the motor on saturday did a swap and finished third on Sunday in Class 5 (fastest Class). Major effort by the team and drivers. IU drove the car at 7/10ths as it is not mine and did one stint per day @ 1 hour and 45 minutes. Long time to be in the car. Tires were G force rivals and the absolutely sucked.

I'd like to talk about the ABS system in it. Looking to build something similar for mine and wanted to see how that one was implemented. We can discuss in PM if you would prefer.

Edit: Removed question after realizing what car you were in.

Car has a tilton brake system with a bias knob. No ABS. What would you like to know ?
