Martin, might suggest including a "VIR Full (New)" as people are generally cutting times 3-5 seconds since it was widened over the holidays |

The repaved track is definitely worth time; those are much slower tires. But no one can ever run the "old" course again so they would become irrelevant if separated. I'd just leave them and let times come down naturally. |
that'd be fine if original times had a date on them, but they don't... so instead given it is such a major change to track layout, recommend a new grouping

That would be great if the Oak Tree was removed at the same time as the track was repaved but alas that is not the case. Interestingly they plan to clone the tree and replant it elsewhere while eventually placing another tree in its spot.

New repave at VIR seems to be worth about ~4s so far....
