Small incident on track to share and learn

This is the mark of my 14th track day where I have to "learn" how to save from my errors. Luckily fast reaction saved the car since palmer is the most unforgiving track I've run so far.

More details pls see video description

Thank you all for watching! I am trying to start posting more info in thread and youtube 2017!

Not too bad ... could have been much worse for sure.

Note that you can embed your YouTube video using the [YOUTUBE] tag. Just remove everything in the URL up to and including the v=. In your case this would just leave ZSja3xI_wrA inside the tag.

I don't quite recall but if you spot it right i have to say sharp ears! Car was bone stock back then so everything is quiet.

I do want to catch the 991 Carrera S ahead of me :tiphat:

It is a fun track and Z is a fun track car too!

Looks like you had quite a bit of steering angle when rejoining the track. In that situation, I'd probably stay two-off since there's a straight in front and then get back on with less speed and steering input. There's definitely not much room for error on that track, good job staying out of the tire wall!

Yup one thing i learned is, don't be afraid of "gardening" as long as it is under control.

What group were you running with? I cannot comment as your hands and feet along with head I cannot see. Palmer is a blast but it can *bite* you with the lack of run off. I am there aot instructing with a bunch of different clubs.

I just got to drive Palmer today with my Roadster and it was a blast. It was a fundraiser event for Larz Anderson auto museum. It had a pace car, but groups of 6-7 and the pace car was still exceeding 100 on the straights, so plenty good clip considering over half were Porsches. It was my first time tracking, so didn’t look too hot trailing a guy in a GT3 RS. That said, I didn’t spin out and an S2000 on PS4S did, so I’ll count it a win.
