I hear CarboTech and StopTech pads are pretty good, but never had any experience with those on the track or street
Carbotech's are solid, they have a much different characteristic than endless does. I like them , but they wear out quick. There is a reason they are half the price of endless, they only work for half the time.. You can easily get a full season out of a set of MX-72's and probably half of the next season if you track 2 times a month. I literally ran my MX-72's down to the metal and never noticed any fall off, they lasted me over a year.

Currently running Hawk DTC's and they are WAY too much for any street tire. The RE-71 might be able to handle it(since it really is a 100 treadware tire lol), but they work almost perfect with the RC-1's so far. I don't like the characteristics of the DTC's but they stop so friggin hard that you can't really complain about them either-they get it done quickly.

I will be trying a set of Endless ME-20's next, it's their entry level racing pad and I hope it's similar to the DTC's with more feel and more linearity to it.

StopTech Rotors= awesome value no questions a buy. Stop Tech pads= just don't.

So StopTech rotors are good!

Stoptech pads are bad. Why?

Also, why do you say Hawk DTC are too much for a street tire? Are those pads street/race or race only pads?

Stoptech rotors are best bang for buck you can find. Slotted fronts and just buy blank rears.

Hawk DTC's are a true racing pad. They will overload a street tire easily, and they will trigger abs very badly. if the tires can't handle what they do. But they are magnificent at stopping the rotors.

I ran a 2:07.8 at ACS in my stock 2014 SRT Grand Cherokee, if that helps.

Damn! That's pretty fast in a car that big and with a passenger to boot!

To be honest, I never broke 2:00 at ACS. 2:03 was my best. I think I lost all my time in 1 and 2 and brake zones. Mods are listed in my sig, but at that time I was still on stock tires and brake pads. Also only Whiteline front sway and Swift springs at the time. I could dive deeper in the SRT than I could in my Z, especially into 12.

Thanks! That is my wife in the passenger seat and the one whose name is on the title of that SRT. Haha.
It is a big car, but it is quite fast. Especially in Track mode, 30/70 split 4WD and 475 ft/lb torque makes corner exit a big spot to gain speed on the RWD cars. And the brakes are awesome, found myself being able to dive a lot deeper than the Z into turn 12. It did lose on speed on the front stretch due to the high drag coefficient.
I ran that stock, stock Brembo brakes, Perelli PZero tires.
Eagle and GSS138 like this.

So i saw in yuor ealier post you guy put up like 2:05? What do you post now with yours mods.

Also 285rwhp seems low for all your mods. I have CBE, CAI and a tune and pull 308.

Pretty much running back to back 1.58's and 1.59's no problem. I did put in a few 1.57's though. PBT is 1.57.6. I am sure I can touch a 1.55.x after reviewing my videos though. I still have some problems with the "playground" area. And even on my PBT the braking into 3 was not good, and could definitely carry more speed through the chicane and into the hairpin.

Granted I haven't changed anything on my car since last summer besides tires and brakes, I was doing 2:03's on a wet day in August 2015 and my tires were dead.

Not sure if you're still on this thread but I'm hitting up autoclub this weekend. Hope to see some 370's on Saturday
