I haven't tried other pads, once I found something I liked I kind of just stuck with it.

I hear CarboTech and StopTech pads are pretty good, but never had any experience with those on the track or street

Carbotech's are solid, they have a much different characteristic than endless does. I like them , but they wear out quick. There is a reason they are half the price of endless, they only work for half the time.. You can easily get a full season out of a set of MX-72's and probably half of the next season if you track 2 times a month. I literally ran my MX-72's down to the metal and never noticed any fall off, they lasted me over a year.

Currently running Hawk DTC's and they are WAY too much for any street tire. The RE-71 might be able to handle it(since it really is a 100 treadware tire lol), but they work almost perfect with the RC-1's so far. I don't like the characteristics of the DTC's but they stop so friggin hard that you can't really complain about them either-they get it done quickly.

I will be trying a set of Endless ME-20's next, it's their entry level racing pad and I hope it's similar to the DTC's with more feel and more linearity to it.

StopTech Rotors= awesome value no questions a buy. Stop Tech pads= just don't.

So StopTech rotors are good!

Stoptech pads are bad. Why?

Also, why do you say Hawk DTC are too much for a street tire? Are those pads street/race or race only pads?
