No rear sway bar?
I have hotchkis sway bars on my car and didn't keep the OEM ones but I feel like the rear is to stiff, has anyone tried running no rear sway bar on a track car?

Can't speak to tracking but my autox car has been sans rear bar this whole season. As long as you have stiffer rear springs I'd say go for it.

I do. 18k front, 12k rear, hotchkis only front. Better then it was but 12k's still pretty stiff.

If you read through some of the threads. You'll find that some of the track rats no longer use a rear sway bar with the Hotchkis front bar.

I didn't but thank you, I thought it might work but for some reason I thought it was a bad idea Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
In reading some of the thread. Some are running a square set-up, and/or coil-overs too.

I really do wish that someone made a swaybar like my old DP Spyder had. Whiteline made it, 3 way adjustable. Stiffest was equal to stock, and just got softer. I loved it!

Im square also but my main reason was my 58/42 weight ratio. What are you at?

I had it corner balanced but it's been a while so I'm not sure but it's close to yours, upper 50s/lower 40s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Yeah id remove it and play around. My cars still slow but 1000 times better!

Thanks for the input, I will give it a try.

I have KW V3s on the car with the front set to the stiffest and the rear set in the middle, do you think I should stiffen the tears without the sway bar? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Whats the spring rate? Linear? Or progressive?
|
Progressive so they don't give a spring rate.
