For the harness bar, we are working on an option for you guy actually. How many of you would be interested in one? There is one bolt in roll bar option out there I am aware of, but I want to investigate it a little farther before I try and offer them, not trying to sell/advertise sub par parts for cars that actually get used!
A legit harness bar with support bar(s) would be welcomed.

Just make sure it is function over form.

I can get the RPM bar, but it seems like the seats are an issue with that set up.

Now the question is...

Can you expand this option out to a 4 point cage using similar mounting points plus rear shock mounting points? Not sure if there is a mounting location behind the seat on the floor for the main hoop. Probably needs to be drilled with backing plates.

The harness bar, and a quality 4 point bar will not share any mounting points sadly. IM sure it could be done, but not something I would feel safe selling to people going on track.


If anyone is local, or willing to ship their car out im sure we could build a bolt in 4 point. We normally do full weld in, but, if the market is there we would jig one. The issue is I cant devote 70-100 hours of my fabrication guys time to it right now unless there is a paying customer with a car in here sadly, we are just to booked up for that.

Would a stainless line that goes directly from the master to the slave line, bypassing all the dampening boxes and what not in the fender-well, and some fire sleeve, be something you guys would be interested in? Seems like that dampening box makes the clutch feel soft.

I think it's a bandaid, but it might help especially on a newer model. Our CSC has a plastic bushing or something. I think with the extreme heat that our clutch fluid gets to on track, that it eventually causes the plastic to fail/deteriorate prematurely.

So if your seal were in good shape, then yeah a nice reroute and thermal protection will save you a costly CSC upgrade later on. But if the plastic is already deteriorated, then this would be just a "nice to have".

Would also be "something to do" while you are replacing our crappy csc with your expensive replcacement.

I will share my experience and observations as I have a RPM roll bar installed in my Nismo. I think a lot of people forget that when you are talking about a two seat sportcar there are going to be space limitations. Most all things in the US are geared towards the average height and weight of a man that is 5'10", 165 or 170lbs...and we are talking about a Japanese sportscar lol. Therefore, if you are taller than 6' thing can get cramped real quick.

The primary issue with a 4 point roll bar is going to be the position of the top bar as it should be placed where it will protect the driver and passengers cranium by keeping the roof from clasping on top of occupants. I know this seems elementary, but that top bar is going to limit how far back the seat can be placed when it is moved rearward. The point at which the seat will come into contact with the top bar is also determined by how much the driver or passenger wishes to recline their seat. Reclining the seat will lesson leg room significantly.

I am about 6'1" and 210lbs and I don't feel cramped as I like my seat mostly upright and I like to be close enough to my pedals so that I don't have to stretch to reach them. I think a person can maximize leg room by installing a proper race seat as race seats are fixed, not as bulky as oems and can be installed lower to gain additional leg room.

I really think a person needs to decide on what their goals are if they need more leg room. If you are going to track more than daily drive and you are tall and have long legs then you will need to modify the cockpit to accommodate your needs or go with a harness bar. I'm not sure you can get much more room with a 4 point roll bar than RPM without giving something away in relation to safety and that is why you have the roll bar to begin with.

Yup, that is next on my to do list. As you mentioned in your other thread, the added benefit of a roll bar is the stability it provides to the car. I had to relearn how to drive it into corners again lol.
