Second Set Of Brake Ducts!

And yes, I know that my dust boots burnt away years ago...

Here is the passenger side brake duct I fabricated. It is functional as is but could use a little finishing. You may notice that the duct on the driver side is slightly different because it is made from carbon fiber and required less bracing.

My new intakes are directly below the fang vents and are also made of fiberglass and resin. Currently they are pretty rough but I will be finishing them off later.

Just in case you are wondering, those top ducts act as cold air intakes, the rectangle cut below the grill is additional air into the oil cooler, the plate covering the grill is to prevent air from getting to my oil cooler when off the track, and the two large rectangles are additional radiator cooling.

Video no play, maybe work's network is being a b*tch.

Good call on the caliper cooling however.

My caliper routinely sees 500F on track days.

:shakes head:

Plumbing nightmare.

I will update soon with bracket design and modifications to the front fascia for the intake.

Good job!

Gotta be stylish even in the garage.

It's so kinked though it seems.

Its not kinked, just a old piece of brake hose that is already been flattened slightly.

Sorry about the delay in updating, but I have had to make some modifications to my passenger side duct. The one in the video is made of carbon fiber cloth and west epoxy and is super rigid.

Unfortunately, I ran out of carbon fiber cloth and have had to resort back to fiberglass and resin. The duct is nowhere near as rigid and required additional bracing.

I love how you are still rocking a front plate.

All I can say is Water Wetter. In hindsight, I probably should have tried that before cutting open my nose.

Do the ducts direct the air to the rotor face or to the center of the hat?
