My Timeslip & What RPMs are good shift points on the drag strip?
What RPMs are good shift points on the drag strip? Also any good gadgets to make a beep to go along with the light when shifting?
2010 370Z Nismo Mods: Berk Test Pipes ( with cel ) Video: http://youtu.be/nPZuF7VbpB4 60ft: 2.267 (poor) 330: 5.973 1/8: 9.0180 1/8MPH: 82.54 1000: 11.576 1/4: 13.758 1/4MPH: 104.1 Temp:68F - Atlanta Dragway What mod should I do next? |
Don't take this the wrong way but work on the driver mod first. Take your 60' time down and .3ish and you'll see your time plummet. What tires are you running?
|
stock tires, true on 60 foot was expecting 2.0ish, was getting that in my old 350z. this track a few tenths slower than drag strips further down south.
|
where are you shifting at?
My best time 60ft: 2.048 330: 5.794 1/8: 8.834 1/8MPH: 81.90 1000: 11.43 1/4: 13.63 1/4MPH:102.74 2009 370z with just K & n drop-ins and silicone tube their was a 370z sport package (doesnt mean anything) that was running 14's lol |
This a good question. I would like to take my Z to the track and find out the times, especially with all the additional mods I've done. Now running 13s seem a little slow honestly. Is this the norm?
|
what is done to your car? i think mid 13's is great for a stock car. i would like to take mine out their again to see if i can get 13.3-13.5 with exhaust and intake.
