What is the difference between Gloss Candy Red and Blood Red? Looks like the Candy Red might be a little darker?

Also, is the Candy Red an additional charge finish?

Much appreciated!

We dont offer a Blood Red finish, I believe that is a discontinued Forgestar finish.

If Blood Red is the finish I am thinking of, it is a darker Matte Red color. It is a 2 stage powdercoat as well with silver base and matte red topcoat.

The Candy Red has a metallic silver basecoat with a gloss red topcoat. There is a $200 additional cost to have this done since it needs to be coated twice.

We do have this Matte Red finish which is very close to Blood Red, but brighter I believe:

Also a 2 stage powdercoat for an additional cost.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks

I believe that is the same as Candy Red, except it is a standard silver basecoat rather than the metallic silver basecoat. I can have this done for you as well!

Ok....thanks for the clarification. I prefer the metallic silver basecoat on the Gloss Candy Red.

Again, thanks!

I do as well, the metallic looks amazingly nice in the sun, especially in person.
