Will a 19x10.5 +0 have more of a lip? Will it fit our cars on the rear? Will a 19x9.5 +12 fit on the front?

I know a +12 front will fit for sure. I'm also wondering about the rear, I guess it depends on the camber and tire.

litesky 03-23-2011 09:10 PM

can i get these picked up in California? I live right next door to Varrstoen.... lol

Coooool! Thnks man. Tires on the back would be the OE nismo tires. 285/35. Can someone confirm if it will fit? :)

Edit: 0 offset would mean bigger lip right?

iceman21_23 03-23-2011 11:16 PM

no their offsets don't change the lip sizes just the back spacing think of it like they are adding a spacer to the rear of the wheel

darn it, thanks for the info iceman. I would have loved the rear lip to be bigger than the front. 3.25 and 3.75 are too similar..though by looking at the pictures you can tell there is a difference.

I did my math and I arrived to the following conclusion:

front: 19x9.5 +22 on 245/40s
rear: 19x10.5 +12 on 285/35s

I figured that that setup would be the equivalent of adding 18mm front/11mm rear spacers to the stock nismo wheels, so I guess I will be ok up front since there are people here running 20mm spacers on the front with nismo wheels and tires.

For the rears I guess I could add 5mm+2.5mm spacers to bring the offset down to +4.5 (equivalent to adding 18.5mm spacers to rear nismo wheels, again, I've seen people here running 20mm spacers back there, so I assume I will be fine.)

what do you think? do you think camber will be too bad for a daily driver? Do I have all my calcs wrong? lol

iceman21_23 03-24-2011 12:28 AM

well the fronts don't clear the brakes equipped on your car you need a 5mm spacer to clear with +22 are you dropped at all? are nismo's lower then sports package cars? right now im dropped on tanabe gf's (1.5 drop all around) and im running 25mm spacers all around so esstnially my offets are +22 and +5 . but i have some camber front and rear.

Ron 03-24-2011 01:04 AM

Crap so that will bring the offset on the front to +17, and that means more neg camber... I thought he said they did clear the sport brakes :shakes head: I will be dropped on swift springs, same as this guy: http://www.the370z.com/brakes-suspen...mo-review.html Yes nismos are just a bit lower than sport pckg Z. 0.4" to be exact.

iceman21_23 03-24-2011 01:12 AM

well hmmm im just going based on all the other varr wheels i know the +22's do not clear the brakes by a few mm.

Gunzero 03-24-2011 01:13 AM

I want :(

iceman21_23 03-24-2011 01:14 AM

i want 3.3.2 but they are back ordered ahhhhh lol

issforged 03-24-2011 11:17 AM

hey everyone

ok so i just want to clear some stuff up for you guys

the lip sizes dont change according to offset...its only the backspacing of the wheel itself

also the white e92 pictured on page 3 of this thread is one our sets that we did for a friend of ours down here in miami, from that you can see the wheels do come with rivets and center caps

the centercaps can either be left black as on the bmw or they also come with a red overlay that you can put on top of the black which gives it that old bbs race looks (my favorite!!)

our friend down here in miami that with the nismo that we always test wheels on for you guys is currently unavailable so we have to hold off until he comes back for so that we can get a proper fitment thread on these wheels going

also we are waiting on the next shipment to come in for these wheels

everyone that picks these up loves em so they are literally flying off the shelves!!

the first shipment (800 wheels) sold out in 5 days!!!

Ron 03-24-2011 11:31 AM

cool, can't wait to see 'em on that nismo... really interested on whether they clear the front brakes or not. Do you have website or something where I can see the rest of the wheels you offer?

issforged 03-24-2011 12:05 PM

our website is still under construction

we can get you virtually any wheel you like, it all comes down to making you happy as our customer

and Fitment Factory isnt just about wheels...we are a source for all performance parts, suspension parts, wheels, aero parts, sound parts, etc...

think of us as your one stop shop to making your car what you've always wanted it to be

and because you guys are our friends on the forum you always get the best of the best prices

let us know of anything you've had your eye and we'd be more than happy help

but if i had to make a recommendation on wheels as per our experience with different companies

you cant go wrong with ISS Forged, Varrstoen, Lusso Forged, and Work Wheels

I'll drive to MIA if you let me have a set lol

kenchan 03-24-2011 02:25 PM

^^ oh ok, thanks. :D

dainedazz 03-24-2011 03:28 PM

When do you guys get the next shipment of these wheels? I plan to order early April.

dainedazz 03-24-2011 03:32 PM

Quick! somebody from Florida give these guys a visit and have them fit these wheels on your Z!

issforged 03-24-2011 03:46 PM

we'd really appreciate that ^^^

litesky 03-24-2011 06:13 PM

I wonder if i can go to Varrstoen and get them test fitted and have pictures sent out. Again...they are like....around the block...haha. Can something be arranged? Or too much effort?

dainedazz 03-24-2011 06:23 PM

Do it dude ^^ it'd be agreat help to the community. Specially to me cuz I wanna pull the trigger on these! Wheels look sex and the price is right! If I lived right there, I'd already be on it! Unfortunately I live in Jersey as of now.

litesky 03-24-2011 06:38 PM

370zFitment, can you verify if they have a set with tires ready to be tested? And are they willing to do a test fit?

litesky 03-24-2011 06:40 PM

on second thought, we may not need tires. just need to see if our brakes clear, right?

Ron 03-24-2011 06:58 PM

yes! at least that, sport brakes right?

Yup.

dainedazz 03-24-2011 08:14 PM

Yep, thats the most important. If they clear the brakes.

dainedazz 03-28-2011 06:06 PM

Bump

litesky 03-28-2011 07:03 PM

Contacted Varrstoen. +22 in front will need spacers to clear.

Quote:

Hello Sam,

For a 370z, we have done a test fit on the front sport brakes. It’s a bit larger so you will have to run at least a +12 offset 19x9.5 in the front. 19x10.5 +12 in the rear fits perfectly.

Who did you speak to? Navith?
I was just on the phone with him & he said that it might need spacers. I told him I ran 20mm spacers all around with my stock Rays. He asked for the specs on the Rays but Idk them from the top of my head so I told him I'll get back to him tomorrow to calculate the fitment.

dainedazz 03-28-2011 07:30 PM

Also spoke to VJ on the phone & they are still waiting on their man with a 370z to fit the wheels. Florida heads step up & come through their shop! Lol. I want to sleep peacefully knowing they fit our Z's. I want these wheels!

litesky 03-28-2011 07:37 PM

20mm spacers all around?? you are bound to clear. lol.

Yeah 20mm's all around on our stockies lol. I was dropped on Eibach springs and now on Tein flex's and I have had no rubbingissues or anything of that sort. Hopefullytheydo clear man.

Do you know the stock Rays wheel specs?

litesky 03-28-2011 08:00 PM

Google university. Might want to double check:

Front: 19x9 47 mm offset*
Rear: 19x10 30 mm offset*
5 x 114.3 mm (4.5 in) bolt circle.

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...ze-offset.html

dainedazz 03-28-2011 10:58 PM

Nice, I was looking @ old threads and saw the same thing;
19 x 9 +47
19 x 10 +30

thanks for the info, that's too bad. :(

not enough backspacing even though aggressive offset.

issforged 03-30-2011 08:59 AM

the +22 for the front hasnt been an option

what we're worried about is whether or not the +12 will fit because of the way the spokes are on these wheels compared to the Varrstoen 222 where the spokes incline upwards

the spokes of the these wheels are flat so they might not clear the sport brakes

our 370z might be able to make it into the shop today finally

i'll keep you guys posted

Will spacers help clear them? I run 20mm spacers all around on our stock Rays. Info please as soon as your 370z man comes in for fitment ;) If they fit, I'm buying a set on May for sure!
