I was the first to install the SPC front upper control arms... the original parts they sent me (c/o THM) were from a g37 coupe... didn't fit, too long... they then sent me the front upper control arms from the g37, which fit like a charm... please ensure that any future deliveries to customers include the correct spc part... thanks !

SPC lists the same part number for the G37 Sedan, G37 Coupe and 370Z as part #72130. If you know the part number of the part that fit correctly please let me know.

THM please list or PM me a price of just the front arms.

the part from the SEDAN was the one that fit... it is shorter than the COUPE part and the SEDAN part fits the 370z perfectly... call SPC and ask for DOUG in tech support if you have questions / want to confirm etc... I agree, they need to have TWO different part numbers, going to cause lots of confusion the way they have it now

Chris, I'd be interested to know if they are going to change the part number, if you had a chance to talk to Doug.

Hi. After my 1.25" drop, my max camber with stock arms is -2.5 degress rear, -2.0 front. My car came from factory with -2.2 rear, -1.6 front. At -1.6 front, it would understeer, especially trail braking, now that it's lowered and especially with -2.0 camber, it steers like a charm. Toe is unchanged, I forget, like +.1 or something and with more negative camber after lowering, I was worried that it would be "twitchy" or the steering would feel too light, but it feels the same as stock.

What I'm getting at is that I see a rear need to change the rear for street driving, but does the front really need to be changed? If so, why?

Also, do you sell the front/rear seperately, or only as a whole package?

Thanks,

-Phim

The change in handling is probably more to do with the change in spring rate than anything else. I doubt that the rear camber change would adversely alter an understeer situation unless you had increased rear camber to the point that it reduced rear traction.

What I'm getting at is that my front went from stock -1.6 camber to -2.0 after lowering. The spring rate and damping rate affect body roll, which somewhat affects understeer, but just going to more negative camber will preent you from rolling over the edge of your tire, thus giving more front grip and reducing understeer.
