Transmission noisy when clutch is out..

Has any one experience there 6 speed 2013 370Z being noisy when sitting in neutral . As soon as I push the clutch in the noisy goes away. It sounds like a throw-out bearing, or could it be something else to do with manual transmission.....?

Totally normal

It is actually the noise of the input shaft turning the lay-shaft with all the gears out of mesh rattling around on the main and lay-shafts.

Put your foot on the clutch, the input shaft stops rotating and oil drag in the box stops the lay-shaft as well.

Unfortunately yes. It is what it is man, you'll get used to it eventually.

Both if my 370Zs have done that. Only time I really notice it is in the drive-through at McDonalds, next to the wall pulling up to the window. It's normal
