Poll: Regional Marketplace & Feedback
The two suggestions mentioned below were mentioned before when transactions were minimal and the costs to implement these were far greater than the benefits. However, with the fast growing members and the many classified threads in the regional forum, I feel that now is an ideal time to implement these two features to our forum.
Proposal #1: It has come to my attention that more and more members are creating regional threads about selling their items and requesting items, and these threads can be pretty hard to spot when it's all piled up within all the other threads. Therefore, I believe it's time to create a sub-forum within the regional forum called "Marketplace" dedicated to local members of their specific regions to do local transactions and for the threads to be easily spotted and moderated. By adding the mentioned sub-forum, users will be able to easily spot the Want to Sell (WTS), Want to Buy (WTB), Want to Trade (WTT) threads and will make the regional forums that much more organized. Moreover, it will make it easier for moderators to keep our eyes on threads that violate the classified rules. Proposal #2: To make the370z a better and safer environment and give our members the confidence to do transactions, there should be a buyer/seller feedback plugin placed within the forum where members can write feedbacks about the transaction. These two proposals are just ways to better our community and make it convenient for our members. Therefore, a poll has been set up and each member can vote once on whether they like the idea or not. If we get enough"yays," I will contact AK and hopefully these two features can be implemented. Boba Moderator - Southern California |
