Pictures from album

OK, I am really getting frustrated. I have been sitting here for an hour trying to post a thread with pictures from my album and I simply cannot figure out how to do it. Can some one point me to the directions?

Open the pic to full view or the small version of the pic will be copied in right click on the image address then copy and paste it in the insert image icon, remove the extra http: that pops in the window by back spaceing it. go to preview to make sure it worked and hit submit.

Yes, what triples said is correct. You can follow that. HERE's how I usually do it.

Step 1
Click on your album, go to your pictures. Then, right click and copy the image location.

Step 2
Click on the "Insert Image" icon

Step 3
Right click and paste the "image location" in the box. (please note, since http part is highlighted, once you paste it'll be overwritten and that's fine)

Step 4
Click OK on the dialog box. That's it. Now click submit

Hope this helps and if you have any question please feel free to ask. Also, here's the VB FAQ way:

Thanks Ak, for the pic support

Ok, when I go to my album I click on a picture to make it larger, right click and get a drop down list. My drop down list does not have the option "Copy Image Location" listed. All I have is Copy and Copy Shortcut. If I use Copy Shortcut it give me the ability to Paste, but the links don't work even if I eliminate the extra httm. If I use Copy I don't get the Paste option. I am lost.

Copy the link at the top of you're browser. That will work also

Trip, I just tested that for him and on my system that didn't work as the link above was an HTML link.

Topic starter, assuming you're on IE, if you right click and at the bottom of your popup menu there is "properties". A new window will open and it will show you the location.
This is a www address and it ends with .jpg
Copy and paste that into where AK showed you.

Also when you copy paste make sure you take out the "http://" that is already there.
Just found your thread and saw you also copy pasted after the http://, so you ended up with http://http:// which doesn't work.

(that's on top of using the picture link as described above)

I'm on safari, so my browser right click may differ then.

Me too and yes it is different, safari is easier. :)
But I remember from my work laptop which has IE.

I tried it both ways - leaving the http in and adding to it, and deleting it and pasting the line from Properties. I will keep trying. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Ben

Worst case copy the full size pic to your desktop and just upload it from there.

Looks like we figured it out. A HUGE thanks to everyone. I didn't think I was a complete moron!
