It would appear that none of the notifications were lost, they are just backed up in the system, and coming out now, "catching up" if you will. That would explain

It would appear that none of the notifications were lost, they are just backed up in the system, and coming out now, "catching up" if you will.
That would explain why some are getting them even after notification turned off, as it probably wasn't when those were queued up in the email server. Hopefully AK can get some throughput on the server and everything will go back to normal.
