Lubbock Inspections

Any Z owners out there, that are in Lubbock TX, know of a good place to get an inspection done? From what I've seen online, Lubbock doesn't require OBD testing

Default Lubbock Inspections

Any Z owners out there, that are in Lubbock TX, know of a good place to get an inspection done? From what I've seen online, Lubbock doesn't require OBD testing but will do a visual inspection... I have a cat and muffler delete... If anyone knows of a place that might pass an otherwise non-passing car I'd appreciate the info!

Hey I'm out here in Lubbock too and it was a pain to get mine inspected due to tint and blacked out tail lights. One day I'll get around to posting pics and making the intro but I got mine inspected from Donny Putman. His shop is off MLK just north of 50th street. Its right about 46th street on the west side. There is a Beaver Express truck place and its located behind that building on the north side. He passed mine with no problems and it failed about three other places. Let me know if you have any problems with it.

I will have to try that one next time. I had a buddy of mine recommend a place in Idalou, was about a 15 minute drive. All he had me to was honk the horn, test the windshield wipers, and the lights. He did look at my tint but I convinced him it was at 25% We did strike up a convo though about tinted lenses, and he said he fails people with those so wouldn't be good for you...
