Join us for our weekly Houston Z's meet for dinner and drinks.
with the weather less than stellar this weekend we will be taking it easy this week. southside we still owe u a meet but with the rain we will have to push it off till next week. there is parking in the lot right next to grafittis or there is street and paid lot parking close by.
Meet at 730pm
Eat at 8pm
After Dinner we can hang out and chat at one of the neighboring watering holes..... Julep , Liberty Station, or just stay put and have a few beers at grafittis.

Just ran across a white 370z with black wheels and a nice body kit. He had a Houston's Z decal on the side window. Gave him a glance but couldnt get any closer because of traffic.

I wonder if anybody is meeting up this weekend. I know it is rain in the forecast all weekend long.

Anyone got mods for sale locally? Just bought a Z with sport package :)

The thread is dead because almost all activity is posted via FB/Instagram and sometimes twitter. The forums are a relic for group posting and updates.

I need to get it jacked up so I can get the SC off, between heat, baby, and pure laziness I keep putting it off. Though if people want to come over and help me get the car up on jacks and chill I would be more than happy. Might also need to borrow a few tools.

Once the heat dies down some I have no issue coming and help. You'll just have to let me know what tools you think you're missing.

Yeah, heat is the main one stopping me, I go outside for 5 minutes and just walk back in.

Yes it does, but hopefully we are passed the worst of summer and temps can slowly go down. I think once I get the Z up on jack stands it will move quickly, just that 1st step of actually going out and getting started.

Hey guys, just got quoted 700+ to install swift springs and rear cam kit at JTran and Houston z auto. Anywhere in Houston that does quality work for cheaper?

Check Houston z auto or imperial Collision, but jtran seems to be a pretty popular choice amongst the Houston z group.

It's not that far off. 4-5 hrs of labor and whatever for the alignment.

I guess I just thought it would be cheaper in Houston. There's one shop here in Lufkin that quoted me 300 plus 100 for the alignment. Thanks for the input!

Performance shop rates are usually a minimum of $100 per hour, as they become well known and demonstrate better quality (and QC) that price can go up to $150-200 per hour. As you are paying a premium for a shop you trust to know what they are doing and to do it right the first time, and if there is a problem they will be around to fix it.

I don't know if this is the right place but I think I put request to join the Houston z's on fb so can catch up with everyone. The name on fb is pretty much the same gracias :tiphat:

Was the Houston Facebook closed? Went on there to check and see if you guys are doing anything this weekend but said closed. I'm finally not in school and can actually attend events.

I just reset my Fbook account to join the Htown Z thing. The only thing is I don't even know F book. I just know I have 121 people asking to be my friend for some reason. How do I follow along and find deals, meet and stuff. I might go to a few.
