Hiding Toll Tag

Hey guys I just recently got my Z and I ordered my Toll Tag from NTTA because I use tolls regularly..

I am curious if anyone has any ideas on where to place the toll tag besides the top-center of the windshield.. I don't mind holding it every time I run through the tolls just curious if anyone has came up with a way to where they have placed the toll tag and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb?

Because we all can agree those stickers are extremely ugly..
So if anyone has any suggestions let me know!

Pictures would be appreciated as well, if possible!
thank you.

I was lucky and got the old plastic tag w/ velcro just before the new stickers were released. I stuck it above and behind the rear view mirror, which doesn't look that bad from the outside. Since the NTTA switched over to the stickers though, I think we're just SOL regarding our placement options.

But if you're ok with your idea, that's probably the best alternative. I hope you figure something out, though.

Not sure if the Dallas area does this but in Houston you can ask for a different type of toll tag. It mounts onto your license plate holder using the 2 license plate screws. I heard that they might not be available to all types of cars though. I'm not sure, I've only heard of it and seen it at my cousin's Mercedes dealership.

haha! I don't mind that sticker, the one that I had on my VW prior to my Z was bright blue, and the inside was yellow, it would look very bad with the 40th grey IMO and I am kinda OCD about stuff like that..

I would love to do this but I don't have a front license plate!

I have 4 tolltags, 2 new 2 old school ones, I've never actually stick them onto the windshield...

The old school ones, I velcro it on the back of registration sticker...so from the outside, you don't even see the tolltag.

The new paper-thin plastic ones, I don't peel it, I just slot it where windshield meets front dash.

And I've never had any problem with tollbooth on tollway, DFW airport and Love Field garage.

I've had old and new toll tag and once I got my Z I never got a chance to put them on..

Even then I still run tolls and it gets deducted correctly from my account... a rep said they go back license plate number

I just got an ex tag thing. It's smaller than the old one they had. I just put it 1/4'' under the black part on the wind shield near the rear view mirror. What I do before I stick any sticker tag onto my windshield is: 1) mock trial the area to stick it 2) clean the area where it is to stick 3) completely peel off the backing to expose the glue 4) slap it back and forth on my hands to make the glue less sticky 5) apply it as strait and best I can on desired spot. I do this to aid in the removal of the sticker. It is just plain easier to remove those sticker weather they are ez-tag, registration or whatnot. It leave less gunk and ripped sticker to clean up.
