Why did you change your mind?
Also, what did they quote you to do it?

Dzel 11-20-2012 05:06 AM

Umm I want to say it was like $600, I actually changed my mind cause it's cheaper to paint it.

NickTurnon 11-20-2012 08:26 AM

$600 is reallly expensive for a wrap on your roof.

Look for someone that will charge $200-250

SkinsWraps in Dallas did mine for just over $200, they're one of the best vinyl shops in the area and they got the antenna as well. Did a very good job on mine, most people ask if its paint or vinyl when they first see it

Deviate Autoshop does it for about 200

That sucks. You should've said that you know someone that had their same car done at the shop for $200.

Then maybe they will give you the same deal--

Some of my friends that I work with actually started a business dipping cars. They can do individual parts like the roof and they can get matte, satin, or gloss paint.

Yeah it seems more and more people are wrapping their cars nowadays and their prices have gone sky high for just a single panel. Your best bet is to find a newer vinyl shop that will charge less starting out even though their work may be identical to the big guys..... Where to find them, who knows, but I'm sure there's some around in DFW

If you come to the houston area, look into getting your wrap done by these guys
