I picked up a 2009 touring + sport 6MT last week. Just want to say hi!

My car needs a 30K service but I don't really want to bring it to a dealership. Can anybody recommend a good shop I can bring it to? I'd like to get the manual transmission oil and diff fluid replaced. Thanks.

Really depends on the side of town you're on.

Have you considered doing it yourself? The tasks you mentioned are fairly simple, not to mention you'd save some money.

Sounds like you all should organize a "tech day." I use to host one twice a year in Colorado.

Down the street from where I work in west u. Poutous , they have done work on or dailys and they did the engine covers on my old 350. will post pics tomorrow.

What Window tinting shops do you guys use, and how much did you spend? I can't stand being untinted, I feel so exposed lol.

Welcome, we are having our weekly meet this Thursday at Hooters off 59 inside the 610 loop if you want to meet some of us.
On the tint, it depends on what level you want? Basic tint should run 100ish dollars but more advance tint can be 300-600 depending on the level.

OR you can spray paint your windows so nobody can see in....

or out.

Alright guys sorry for the delay, here are the pics. The car is really a blast to drive. This is my first MT and I am lovvviiing it :driving: though I still find shifting from 1st to 2nd kind of hard sometimes.

By the way, I have some Infiniti wheels and tires for sale. Just posted them here (http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...ml#post1669342). The tires are Mich Super Sport and the size is 225-50/18 and 245-45/18. Let me know if you or anyone might be interested. Thanks.

I live in the Westchase area (Westheimer and the beltway) and I work near 290 @ 610.

it might be a little far from you but I always get my tint from Stereo FX off i-45..they have the Cermeric...crap, "metal tint". to do your back window, corner pocket and side windows will cost you $80. i know "you get what you pay for" but i had their tint on my last car for 8-9 years and it didnt turn purple on me.Was in really good shape when I traded it in actually and you have a 1-2 year warranty just in case it bubbles or you roll down the window before it dries:ugh2:

i cant remember where i got my tint. It a little place off of I-10 in Katy. Took em like 20 mins and looks good. I think I paid $150 for all the windows. They wouldnt even talk about doing limo tint though. But I'm glad I didnt anyway, this car is hard enough to see out of.
