I like the idea of a weekday evening meet, grab some food, a few drinks and relax with people.

:happydance: sounds good!

I bet that is allll you love at Hooters.
If we want, every week we can do a different place on Westheimer if we want. BW3, Texa, Chiptole, Freebirds, is there a Hooters around there? That is just a couple of places I know off the top of my head right there.

There are wings at Hooters?

VDC_OFF 03-27-2012 11:46 AM

oh c'mon, the food is really good there. Seriously!!! But if you dont like the environment there is also other places too like Twin Peaks and Chulas.

Robert_K 03-27-2012 11:57 AM

If I eat Hooters it needs to be close to my house and without plans afterwards if you get what I'm saying. LOL

Zeuz 03-27-2012 12:32 PM

im down for a weekday meet !!
Hooters:driving: but there parking is never good !

Duci22 03-27-2012 12:49 PM

I would go every other week or so. It's a little drive to get to Westheimer from the woodlands.

So why are we doing Westheimer again? Are there a lot of members that live in that area?

guru 03-27-2012 01:23 PM

im down for monday or sunday, all the other days i work late and could meet up after work. what about inside the loop, there is a twin peaks at kirby and 59 and the roads on that side of kirby were just redone. havent seen the driveway yet but i work down the road from there and will check it out.

yall have fun.. Im out

guru 03-27-2012 01:44 PM

doesnt have to be twin peaks i was just commenting on a restaurant that was thrown out there. there are plenty of nice places inside the loop or central for most of us. hell we could go to Guadalajara off of 59 between kirby and buffalo just as easy, they have plenty of parking, but again i havent tried the entry in my z yet.

wstar 03-27-2012 01:48 PM

If you want that part of town, there's a Lupe's near there too.

I was just kidding Jenny, sorry to scare you away. My wife would not approve of me going there despite how good the wings are :yum:

Thank u sir, I definitely feel the same way about yours. I originally wanted white but when this one popped up equipped the way it was I had to pull the trigger. Can't wait to see yours in person.
Perhaps with this meet we should have it on different sides of town, people on the side of town can pick the restaurant and set the day every week. Just a thought, cause back in the day I used to help plan the my350z meets and it gets old having to do it all the time just one or 2 people.

I thought Hooters and Twin Peaks were basically the same thing with different owners and interior decorating? Never been to the latter, just assumed.

Haha! I could not understand why that restaurant was so popular one day I was supposed to meet some friends at twin peaks and I was walking around looking for them sitting down. Looked like a sausage fest line out the door. At first I thought oh man this is a homosexual eatery. After a few turns around the place I understood why... LOL! Heck if I want see T&A I can go to the strip club for lunch And eat free!

Heck in the olden days you have them topsless inyour lap feeding you!

Hooters is a family restaurant compared to Twin Peaks. If yall want a guy's night out -- just say so. wont offend me! :tiphat:

Synack 03-28-2012 10:20 AM

Oh wow didn't know this thread was this popular. I'm down for ANY kind of meet. Haven't taken my car to a show or meet of any kind in a while, due to really screwed up reasons.

Now come on now; is a wreck followed-up a few months later by a blown engine really an excuse? :shakes head:

Now that you are back on the road - hopefully for a long time - The Woodlands is holding their Cars and Coffee meet this Sunday starting at 9:00 am.

VDC_OFF 03-28-2012 11:59 AM

so when is the one for 249 happening, next weekend?

A group of Z's is meeting at the address below and will roll out for the meet at 8:45 am. For TWCC you can only park together if you arrive together.

AMF Woodlands Lanes
27000 Interstate 45 N, Conroe, TX

It's in the northeast corner of the intersection where you exit I-45 (Exit 77 - Woodlands Parkway).

guru 03-28-2012 12:35 PM

Also I believe the zcoh is having the bluebonnet run this Sunday. Will ask Dave if its for sure. Another good excuse to drive the car.

Synack 03-28-2012 12:46 PM

Well my car has a new body, a new engine, coilovers, new seats. I'm ready to go. Finally achieved perfect ride height. All I need is a car wash now.

JB-370z 03-28-2012 12:57 PM

I say thursday nights. Friday is the following day so if it gets a little wild, no big deal. I can always bring the rest of the Baker team with me as well.

I agree with Thursday. Mainly because I am doing things non car-related Friday and Saturday nights. Those nights usually include loud club kicks, alcohol, women, etc. lol
