I am looking forward to next Sunday. I'll see everyone there. Was just looking to take a cruise today.

I would go today but have to get some studying in, you would think professors would learn that Spring Break = no one gives a sh1t about school, and would not schedule exams right after it.

Any of you Houstonians have a cai for sale :D?
I'm swinging through on thursday to pick up some rear tires, thought it was worth a shot to ask

Yup white one was me. I was spinning out a lot at first trying to figure this thing out and learned a lot about this car. You should it's fun just buy spares and correct lugs lol

Yeap! I've seen Rota's from in popularity since around '05. And I get the same excuse every time; "Not everyone can afford $2k wheels." And my response is; "Save. It might save your life."

VDC_OFF 03-21-2012 09:12 AM

Good article, makes me want to protest against fake wheels! I hate seeing that my Top Secret carbon lip is not offered as a replica. Saddens me.

What do you mean? Carbonsignal makes a replica of that lip. As far as the wheels go, I will agree in terms of safety. When you can't avoid a pothole at highway speeds, a strong forged wheel could absolutely be the difference between life and death. And I don't think that is being dramatic.

Robert_K 03-22-2012 05:21 AM

You should see the blast I'm getting from the some of the 350Z group because of that article. Sorry you bought fake-ass wheels. They actually push me out of their private group. Don't be mad at me.

theDreamer 03-22-2012 09:22 AM

Need a good place/person for washing my Z, want a full detail done on the car, also how much will it probably be?

The truth hurts sometimes.

Surprised to see that not that many people have confirmed for the cruise this Sunday. People are always complaining about nothing to do....... Gonna be a great day to wash the z and take it out for a drive!

My car is undergoing surgery right now so I might miss some of these upcoming events. Trying to fix it myself as soon as possible! Have to replace rotors and fenders.

Zeuz 03-22-2012 07:12 PM

Gixxer-370Z 03-23-2012 08:22 AM

It has come up again that people want a weekly meet in Houston, I am open to suggestion for locations and days.
Main requirements I could see:
-Good parking on day of the meet, don't need a bunch of door dings for anyone
-Easy access, not just because of low cars but also good roads
-Good food and preferable some alcohol.

wstar 03-26-2012 11:34 PM

Whatever happened to the meet at that wings place on westheimer?

Sunday worked nicely and most people came out, but it seemed once Football season ended last year people stopped coming.
I like the idea of a weekday evening meet, grab some food, a few drinks and relax with people.

I have eaten at one in Austin, it was good.
Just looked on google maps, good parking and two good entrances. Any particular day you guys want to start doing this?
