Exactly! I appreciate for sure. Thanks for all the help.

ddot196 08-07-2012 10:20 PM

Jenny, how are you? I didn't get to talk to any of the Z owners. They have nice cars.

Cars and Coffee is at Vintage Park. It's on the intersection of FM 249 and Louetta. There is a HEB supermarket across the street.

I might come out to the next cars and coffee.

I want to go to the autcross anyone know of one around here?

phohman 08-08-2012 07:51 AM

Not sure about Houston but if U try sasca.org (San Antonio area) it may also give info for our area.

There is one, they are held at the horse & dog race tracks and then another location.
Here is a thread on it for Houston: http://www.the370z.com/texas/13738-h...rea-autox.html

Would be great to meet you at the next C&C, just remember to get up early as by by 7AM most of the parking lot is full.

I would say earlier than 6:00 because other people are starting to take our spots. Z's no longer own our normal parking spaces. We need to claim them back! By 6:30 everything is gone and its now over at 9 instead of ten due to the heat.

RMRF is HPDE-like (think Road Racing - a real road course race track, but non-competitive, just track time to learn), and The Driver's Edge is highly recommended for an HPDE-like event around TX. Auto-X is a different thing (cones set up in a parking lot, lower speed and shorter runs, solo for time, more technical I guess). There's a few different groups that do Auto-X around Houston, but the main ones are the one that Dreamer linked earlier and the Porsche/BMW clubs (which do allow other makes!).

Hey fellas. I'm a proud new owner of a 370z. I want to try to make it the next CC meet to meet and greet some of the members. I've been in the car scene since 2006 so this is all very familiar. I came from a heavily modded 2006 STi. I hope to meet some friendly faces at the next meet and greet!
