Yeah he was being a D-bag when I was talking to him. Wasn't very friendly at all. Sucks when some people go Boost they think they're all high and mighty and cooler than everyone else.

Maybe I'm because he thought everyone would

But he was

Whoa... hold on. So What exactly did he do or say to you that qualifies him as a dbag?

To be completely honest, you just met the guy and probably exchanged a few words in a few minutes at Nismo Fiesta. I've known him for a while now and he's nowhere near a dbag from what I've seen.

We were talking about supercharged systems for the 370 and he was kind of just talking down to me like I was less than him. Just his attitude. He didn't say anything specifically though. It's really not a big deal at all. I'll probably never see him again.

He's a dbag, yet you are the one who came on a public forum to diss a fellow forum member, that you hardly know, after what was likely a brief conversation. Makes sense.

Whatever it was, it may not be a big deal to you, but when you call someone you talked to for a few minutes a dbag... without real basis... on a public forum... well, you can imagine it's gonna be taken personal.

Even though I don't agree with bringing it up the way you did, or even bringing it up at all, I feel bad that you are getting kind of burned alone here. So, it must be noted that I had the EXACT same experience with said owner, so it wasn't only you, and you're not exaggerating. However, maybe he was having a rough day or something, don't wanna rule out and call him a d-bag.

Regardless of whatever miscommunications we had, his car was impressive and nicely put together. So, it got the recognition it deserved and congrats to him on placing.

Yeah the car was phenomenal. I loved the perfect drop in the rear and it's hard to make blue wheels look good but he did it. Maybe he was having a bad day, who knows. I just was saying what had happened. I like to express many of my opinions publicly, it's just what I do.

i think that maybe there was a misunderstanding yesterday, while he may not have been the most outgoing forum member, that hardly qualifies him as a d-bag. i got a chance to chat with johnny(sp) a few times and i thought he was a good guy. he has an amazing ride and had some good advice for us early risers that were washing our cars. i know i told him yesterday about 20 times but damn! i love those wheels! sorry nina that i didnt get a chance to formally introduce myself but when i came to drool on your ride you were a little busy cleaning and i didnt want to interupt. nice ride!

I'm much in love with his white nismo and zentropy's z looks damn sick

Johnny was nothing less than humble when I spoke with him. He was very honest about his car and provided good honest advice. I got to hang out with him and the dallas crew throughout the cruise and all were very chill, nice people. Not sure what it was or what misunderstandings there were, but I can't agree with that observation.

Well once you go boost, N/A owners are just below ya.

I know I've been taken the wrong way. I have to feel the person out first. When you have a highly modified car it attracts, not only those with knowledge, but the idiots. And you get some of the stupidest questions and comments and sometimes it get frustrating. So sometimes you come off wrong.

But I can tell you one thing that I've learned about cars... It's never the car that has the stigma; IE: Mustang owners or Vette owners or Honda owners. It's the owner.

Yeah I can see how I came off wrong. I mentioned GTM Stage 2.5 supercharged and that seemed to do it. I was planning on going Stage 2 with extra blower-assist mods on top of that. So I sort of unofficially called it 2.5 lol.
