He's done my Z several times already and every time I get it back I'm speechless. Plus the great thing his prices are resasonable and not over priced. You can check his work on his Facebook page... My car is in his album as well. So check it out and tell him Javi sent you. His number is 956-266-2930. Goodfellas Auto Detailing - Automotive - McAllen, TX | Facebook

They do have good prices might go up there next weekend

Yea buddy he has great prices and the detail work is great. I highly recommend him...

El Jale 01-07-2012 06:50 PM

Is anyone planning to do Nismo Fiesta? My buddy and I are planning, and he has a couple others interested.

LEGA-Z 01-07-2012 06:59 PM

Yeah I want too.

El Jale 01-07-2012 07:34 PM

I really need wheels and coil overs before I go... But we'll see how that goes.

USMCram 01-08-2012 12:24 PM

I'm interested in going. I doubt I'll have any mods done unless I do my taxes in time.

El Jale 01-09-2012 01:51 AM

I'm thinking of borrowing my 5ADs off my Genesis (not too sure bronze looks good on a silver car), and hope to have AAMs in by then.

USMCram 01-10-2012 08:11 PM

Oooh. I saw some gold ones that I really like, but I dunno how it'd look on a white one. Just throw em on and see how it looks. ha ha.

LEGA-Z 01-10-2012 08:52 PM

Anyone heading out to the meet tonight? In the parking lot of Sears at 9:00-9:30 then cruise to sonic to be there by 10:00

batman_4 01-10-2012 09:47 PM

^ i'm back in Mexico, glad to see Tuesdays still going.

El Jale 01-11-2012 10:13 AM

Chris, for sure bronze looks good on a PW Z... But I'm gonna try it for $hi+s and giggles.. I'll take pics.

LEGA-Z 01-12-2012 01:17 AM

This past Tuesday!

any pics of that other white Z with those front bumper ducts???

Joe711 01-12-2012 07:09 PM

Need input on what will look unique and better ok im going to get the shineauto lip kit which is the sunline racing painting it to match except for the middle of the front and the back ok will it look better with the evo-r high wing or the nismo s-tune wing and for rims going with either tsw nurburging, falken rt-7m, or enkei pf01's in black i have a red z, and if i add a y-pipe to the aam short tails will it be louder by a lot and will i gain power ?

IMO:

--> evo-r high wing vs Nismo wing = too me both are literally the same but feel the tweak the evo-r one has are look better.

--> rims: again, too me the tsw and falken option look almost identical to me...as for the enkei doesn't seem to look good.

--> switching out the y-pipe will increase both noise and whp but not by a huge margin....you want power and noise, get HFC or TPs to go with it.

These are just my opinions....for the look of the car to look hawt the rims will have to be FLUSH since they lack any sort of concaveness or lippage, also a drop is going to have to compliment the over all stance.

oh my bad! i just realized you are looking into the S-tune Nismo wing, not the one that comes on the Nismo version. i've actually never seen a Type-S wing in person while i lived in san antonio or mcallen, i've seen plenty of the other Nismo wing which is basically the Evo-R wing. the Evo-R wing would definitely look much more aggressive and scream "look at me".

i would say 18s are too small but hey, i pulled off some 18s on my 350z. to me i do not like the enkei model you are looking at. as for between the tsw and falken i guess i would go with the TSW's.....HOEWEVER they seem to have some weak offsets. my opinion, save up more and do it right the 1st time, learned that a few years ago...wheels on the Z make or break the look of the car.

here is my 350z on 18s with some good offset

So here's the review. Had a level 3 detail done at the collision specialist. It was the one I won back in november. Maybe because it was free, they didn't go all out, but I don't think it is worth the price quoted on the website. They forgot to dress the engine, and the waxing was a bit half assed. They didn't really wash the car that great, when they applied the wax, they waxed over a bit of bug juice. supposedly they polished it, I really hope they didn't. I figured the polish would remove the paint that someone left on my door when they hit it with their door, but they didn't. Also, I can't prove it, but I think they took a joyride in my car. I'm pretty sure I had more gas in my car, and less mileage when I dropped it off in the morning.(approx 60 miles and a quarter tank of gas, premium is expensive) I doubt I'll be going back for a detail, if at all. I'm sure they would do a better job on the repaints and what not, I've heard great stories, but as for that, I wasn't that impressed with the work at all.

Joe711 01-18-2012 09:25 PM

I love the way the shine looks with the the front of lip with the fangs blacked out as well as the diffuser in the black

El Jale 01-19-2012 07:59 PM

I don't trust anyone with my cars. I will burn my 2 days off to wash the exterior and clean the interior, then day 2 is dedicated to claybar, cleaner wax, then polish wax... And all the dressing. No sprays, here.

LEGA-Z 01-20-2012 10:34 AM

I did some plasti dipping on the rear of my z, and I just notice some over spray. Tiny dots all over.... Would a clay bar clean it out??

LEGA-Z 01-21-2012 03:35 PM

Spotted a Black Cherry 370z at the gas station on ware and exp 83..

USMCram 01-21-2012 04:20 PM

you know ive been noticing more z's lately.I finally found out where my evil twin works (the red nismo). Some new place on 10th called torrettos..

but yea, a lot more 370z''s out and about.

USMCram 01-21-2012 08:33 PM

Looking to plan a benefit car show. Sometime in the upcoming year. Still in the planning phase, I'll give you all more details as it progresses. In case any of you are interested in helping out. I'll post more as things start to become more solid.

LEGA-Z 01-23-2012 10:41 AM

Tomorrow should be a good turnout.. as all ways, but lets see some more 370's out there! Its a Z club, not just a 350z club... ok? lol... And I hear Chris might be heading out too!

LEGA-Z 01-23-2012 11:05 AM

Did this a while back but never posted the pictures... I was just messin around with plasti-dip...

Time for another oil change! While I was digging around the Z1 website, I decided to get the fairlady z badge for my NISMOs rear end. Also got the hoodlifts from kellyfields. They're coming in soon. First mods for my car! I'm excited. Small I know, but hopefully it'll quell the modding bug.

USMCram 01-25-2012 09:50 PM

you should have jumped on them. He did a group buy for em. 78 dollars shipped. It's the only reason I got them. I'll put up some pics as soon as they are received/mounted.

LEGA-Z 01-28-2012 01:59 PM

Carfest 2012 is here! Just got back, took tons of photos... What a great car show... It's at the palm crossing, $10 to get in... You won't be disappointed. P.s. they got the Delorean from Back to the Future! Tons of Muscle, Imports, Tuners, Dragsters... Etc.. It will be here tomorrow as well.
