Well I'm heading up to Austin Thursday, getting my tune from UpRev, they'll do the dyno tune and nitrous tune as well!
![]() ![]() As far as the shorties go, they are loud by themselves. By getting straight pipes, they are now ridiculously loud. But can still cruise just as quietly. When you give it gas they scream. I might end up putting my muffler back on, to quiet down my pipes... I dont think the muffler restricts too much flow anyways right?

You should think about getting some HFC's or test pipes... That will really open up the exhaust. Looking forward to #'s with the nitrous! I'm heading up to Austin on Thursday too, but I'll be in my Maxima instead of the Z.

Sorry to disappoint guys but no nitrous was tuned;(
It was my decision, after a couple points made by UpRev: 1. They felt the nozzles were a bit too close to the throttle body. 2. They strongly recommend a window switch. 3. They recommend running one step colder plugs regardless of the shot. 4. They recommend a regulator on the bottle along with a bottle warmer to keep constant pressure. I asked if they could go ahead and tune the nitrous, and that I would later fix the issues. But they said it would have to be re-tuned if any changes were made. So I decided to put off the nitrous tune until i get headers, an oil cooler, and resolve the nitrous. Then I'll go back up for a second tune. None the less here is the video of my Z's performance ![]()
