Hey atx did you install your spacers yourself?

No... I had a shop in Austin swap out the studs.

I'm sure it's an easy job. I just didn't have the resources at the time to do it myself. (garage, tools, etc.)

Illmatic370z 09-18-2012 06:26 PM

Yeah having the same trouble , probably just take it to a shop n get them installed.

atx370z 09-18-2012 08:00 PM

Anyone interested in a Berk CBE? Selling mine for $600.... Will even help you install it at my place for free.

Still on my car... You can even hear what it sounds like before buying.

Illmatic370z 09-18-2012 08:49 PM

Why you selling?

It's just time for a change. Was thinking the new true dual TopSpeed exhaust or Fast Intentions (if I don't have to wait months to get it).

Illmatic370z 09-18-2012 09:20 PM

Good deal , would love to hear em. My Birthday coming next month would be a great gift to myself. So when do you plan on coming out ?

atx370z 09-18-2012 09:27 PM

ASAP... been busy with the business and family stuff.

Car is getting a mini-makeover over the next month or so.. New wheels, tires, shine auto rear lips. Everything is ordered, just have to wait for delivery then get the wheels powdercoated and the rear lips color matched. Then I want to do a photoshoot with some other local Z's.

Illmatic370z 09-18-2012 09:41 PM

Nice can't wait to see the car. What type of wheels are you getting?

I couldn't find myself spending 3k+ on wheels especially wheels that I would want to get powdercoated as soon as I got them.... So instead of TE37's I got some Varrstoen 2.2.2's. They are matte black but I'm getting them powdercoated the same color as OEM sport rays. (I'm OCD with things matching... Wheels have to match door handles, etc. Don't want to paint door handles) Those + a set of 255/35 - 305/30 Bridgestone RE11's ran me about as much as a set of Volks with no tires... So I'm happy. I think it's going to look awesome when I'm done.

I'm glad I'll have aggressive enough wheels where I won't need spacers.. However I might run 10mm spacers all around to give it that super flush look.

Next mod will be nitrous after I see how LEGA-Z's setup turns out. Although if I went that route, I would definitely take a trip up to Austin to have Uprev give me a nitrous tune that I could switch to when I want to spray.

LEGA-Z 09-19-2012 01:00 PM

Definitely going for a tune myself, before I jump up to a 100shot of nitrous. Starting off with a 50shot... 75shot... And so on.. Car should be out this week, the installers are custom manufacturing most of the parts.. Their taking their time making it look nice. The guys tell me the install on a Z is not that difficult.. Just that mine has to be custom due to my sound system....

Once it's finished... let me know. I'd like to check it out in person.

Is there a dyno here in the valley where you can at least check a/f ratios? I would be interested to see a dyno pull on 50/75 shot to see how things look.

Maybe we can take a group drive to Austin and get our nitrous tunes the same time. :D I'm excited to see how it turns out... Been tossing around the idea for some time now.
