I was thinking about getting an electric cut out before the cats. Not for horsepower but for noise only. :). But I'm not too sure how to go through with it... Whether a single cutout where the Y pipe joins or a dual system on the Y pipes arms. Not sure which is more feasible. I prefer a single on, but not sure if it will work.

Oh cool haha. If I had been inside and with a better presentation I'm pretty sure I would have placed, lol but sadly I didn't.

Are you going to nismo fiesta? Thinking about going, my buddy with the maxima is going. I dint place either and i was in your category lol

LEGA-Z 03-08-2012 07:24 PM

I might be going too. I'll post here if I do.

LEGA-Z 03-22-2012 12:05 PM

Well I just removed the clear bra on my car (you guys can start hatin), so now I can finally clean it how I want to. But it turns out that the clear bra only holds the paint on after a rock chip. So when i removed it, a bunch of nasty rock chips were popping up every where.... guess I need to go to the collision specialists again... but I still think it was worth it haha:)

Illmatic370z 03-23-2012 10:22 PM

Just got a new Z!

mikemc 03-24-2012 06:19 PM

Illmatic370z 03-24-2012 06:56 PM

I'm considering getting mine repainted too this summer, or later in the year. Just not worth it until I move back to mcallen. Point proven, this morning. I haven't gone on the expressway in months. This guy pulling a trailer gets on as soon as he pulls on the expressway, rocks fly off his trailer and boom...right into my windshield....It was a big freaking rock too. :shakes head:
In other news....Zspeed finally finished the aluminum shield for the NISMO...I'm excited! Can't wait to order mine..

batman_4 03-30-2012 01:25 AM

hope everyone is good....saw pics of all the hail and flooding that happened tonight in and around McAllen. reports from my family is that my Z was tucked in the garage

Illmatic370z 03-30-2012 06:21 PM

My Z made it through the heavy rain and hail tuck
ed inside the carport . Thank god!

Jazz8560 03-30-2012 07:30 PM

There was a 40th anniversary parked outside my heb this morning... It didn't make it. It was covered in hail damage. Poor guy.

Illmatic370z 04-02-2012 07:06 PM

Thats sad to hear. Do any of you guys know if any Z's meet up in the area?

USMCram 04-04-2012 09:18 AM

There is an orange 370z with Amuse kit at Barnett Dealership. Looks sexy.

Illmatic370z 04-08-2012 12:40 PM

Is it me or this thread dead?

USMCram 04-08-2012 03:44 PM

Bring it back to life. I'm guessing everyone has been pretty busy as of late. I know I am.

Illmatic370z 04-08-2012 05:38 PM

Leaving friday afternoon for nismo fiesta

USMCram 04-25-2012 09:26 PM

So, I bought some Dr. Colorchip to fill in rockchips on my car. I must say, if you take your time, it works fairly well at covering em all up. I'm pretty sure, If I put down a couple of more coats, I can make it pretty even with the rest of the paint.

danielcast 04-26-2012 12:17 PM

Anyone have a aftermarket clutch installed? I'm thinking of going with a Tim wolf clutch

Hmm looks like that's exactly what I need. Could you take a picture of a filled rick chip?

USMCram 04-27-2012 10:30 AM

That would be a negative. Atleast as far as I know. I'm looking to upgrading some other stuff before I start messing around with the drivetrain..(exhaust, intake, suspension, maybe a tune..)

Illmatic370z 04-27-2012 12:23 PM

Anyone know of a person who can open up headlights and paint them locally ?

you have Facebook? look up Zleds Customs, if not this is his e-mail: zleds.sales@gmail.com

i know the guy but from way back when i had my 350z, sold him some parts. back in December i touched base with him about doing some mods to my headlights but then came back to Mexico and haven't had a chance to look into it anymore. he specializes in 350 lighting but said he was open to checking out the 370 lights.

ps: form personal experience i did my own using my moms oven and everything seemed great except that now i am experiencing some issues on my front right, but all is good as i got another pair of lights waiting in my storage....this time i will be sending them to pro's though!

No issues. Just want to start upgrading.

Illmatic370z 04-30-2012 08:57 PM

Good deal Batman thanks for the input. Rightnow I don't think I'm ballsy enough to tackle it on my own.
