To your question, I live in Plano and I've read news stories regarding Plano ISD laying off teachers. This was prior to the start of school this year. However, since both occupations are public positions, they would likely share similar scenarios. So I wanted to share the info. I could be way off the mark when I say this, but I think Plano PD is always looking for quality officers.
